2. Data We Collect

When you use the contact form we collect: name, email address, phone number, preferred date, number of guests, departure port, and any message you choose to share.

When you contact us via WhatsApp, email or phone, we collect only the information you voluntarily provide.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:
• Respond to your enquiry or reservation request
• Send your booking confirmation and pre-departure information
• Comply with legal and tax obligations

We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties except those strictly necessary to deliver the service (see section 5).

4. Legal Basis

Processing is based on:
• Contract execution or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — when you request a booking
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — when you send a general enquiry
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — for invoicing and tax records

5. Third-Party Processors

We use the following services which may process your data on our behalf:
• Formspree Inc. (form processing) — privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy

All processors are bound by Data Processing Agreements and GDPR-compliant terms.

6. Data Retention

Enquiry data is retained for 12 months from the last contact. Booking data (including invoices) is retained for 10 years as required by Italian tax law (D.P.R. 600/1973).

7. Cookies

This site uses:
• Essential cookies: required for the site to function correctly (session, preference storage). These are always active.
• Analytics cookies: activated only with your explicit consent via the cookie banner. These help us understand how visitors use the site.

You can change your cookie preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using the banner that appears on your first visit.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, and request portability.

To exercise any of these rights write to info@charterdolcevita.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you believe your rights have been violated you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante Privacy) at garanteprivacy.it.

9. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. All data transmissions use TLS encryption.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
